Graphite Materials for Polysilicon Production

Silicon is the second most abundant element on Earth and is commonly found in silicon dioxide (silica). Purifying silica and converting it into polysilicon involves several steps, including melting and refining, solidifying, and then crystal growth. The resulting polysilicon is a highly refined, multi-crystalline silicon used as a raw material in producing solar panels and other electronic devices.
In recent years, large-scale production of polycrystalline silicon processing plants have sprung up. Therefore, the production of the raw and auxiliary materials required for polycrystalline silicon are also increasing rapidly, and high-purity graphite is an important one of these raw and auxiliary materials. The development of high-purity graphite also promotes the production of high-quality polycrystalline silicon. Graphite plays a pivotal role in the polycrystalline silicon industry.
